About Us

My husband Frank and I live on a large farm with acreage in Abbostford BC.

We live in a very beautiful, quiet area that is very close to the US border and has mountain ranges right outside our front door. This to me is tranquility.

Our Home

My love for Boxers started when I was a young teen. It was a beautiful fawn bitch owned by a friend that sparked my interest. At that time living, at home with my parents, was a real challenge to try and persuade them into letting me have a Boxer. Growing up with miniature and toy poodles in the house, I knew it wasn’t going to happen until I moved out on my own.

My husband Frank and I were married in 1986 and within the first couple of months of being married, we purchased our first child. He was the most adorable, wonderful brindle male named Jackson.

Jackson was pet quality, but so very special to us. Within the next year I purchased another Boxer of show quality from a good friend of mine Sheila Fraser of Ellen’s Alley Boxers. She was a beautiful Fawn bitch named Ch. Ellen’s Alley Knockout.

Two years later I purchased another Boxer from Sheila, a brindle bitch named Ch. Ellen’s Alley Main Event. Icea was my special girl. She had quite the feisty personality and even at 12 years of age before she passed away, she would still run like the wind. Icea is the great grandmother to my boy today,
Am/Can Ch Toprank Simply Maserati.

In 1994 I purchased a big, bold, beautiful male named Am/Can Ch Alii’s Sundancer of Ajay’s. Sunny was the light of my life. He was my shadow. He was everywhere I was. He was so very dear and precious to me. Sunny passed away in 2003 at 10 ½ years of age. To this day, I find it very difficult talking about my precious boy without getting very choked up. I miss him so much.
Marty & shelly

It was Sunny’s great grandson Marty, Am/Can Ch Toprank Simply Maserati who has made my days happy and bright again. Marty has so much of the same wonderful personality that Sunny had. He truly has the most wonderful, kind, gentle, caring soul that anyone could ask for. He loves all our friends that come into our home. He thinks everyone comes just to visit him. He likes everyone to quickly establish a seating area, so he can come and practically sit on everyone’s lap to cuddle and show his affection for you. He’s a real sweetheart.

Up until last year, I would only breed no more than one litter a year. Or some times every other year. I have always believed that you should breed only to better the breed. I have always tried my best to breed for good health, great conformation sound personalities and longevity. These, I believe, are the most important issues in breeding dogs.

I also own Marty’s best furry friend, a cat named Gloria. He loves his Gloria even though she likes to swat him over the head when she feels he starts to get a little rambunctious at times. This is just Gloria’s way which he totally respects.

My husband Frank and I have started a new pet food company in 2004 which is called
Professor Connor’s DeliFresh Pet food Ltd.

DeliFresh is a fresh meat pasteurized cooked diet which is sold across Canada and the USA. This new business is why I have decided to take some time away from breeding and raising litters. All the daily traveling for work has kept me very busy that I feel I just don’t have the required amount of time I would like to spend with all my dogs and puppies. Once the business becomes more established and my daily traveling slows down, I will resume with my breeding program again.

Taking a few years away from breeding litters was a very hard decision for me to make, but felt at this time in my life, it is a good one.

Any up coming litters will be posted on my puppy page so please check back often.
Thank you for visiting my website.

Shelly Dueck.
